The Greenhorn Short Film Festival is a favourite of Gorilla’s and has been since we first went along and found an independent film festival with a laidback, inclusive atmosphere and a real passion for filmmaking. Their 2015 instalment is a few months away in November, but they’re accepting submissions for it NOW!

Their criteria are pretty loose; they accept films under 15 minutes from any genre. They also need to have been completed after January 2013. The deadlines are:

Early bird – April 20 (£5)
Regular – July 13 (£7.50)
Late – August 31 (£10)
Extended – September 7 (£15)

For full details about entry requirements and more information on the festival itself, check out the Greenhorn site.
