They kind of only have themselves to blame though. By putting out their show to the wasteland there was always a risk of the wasteland creeping into the bunker, and this month that manifests in a literal, physical way. In fact, it’s a bit of a party atmosphere as teenage news reporter Emma Stirling, spiritual rambler Father Prog Nelipot, idiot sports reporter Fred, a couple of mercenaries called Bill and Ben and a mysterious, charismatic pirate called Captain William Henley are all in the Bunker! But their fantastical stories of the outside world prove too tempting for some.
We also witness the dramatic (literally, there’s an actual drama performance) and bloody end of Katie’s quest for revenge. One with a twist that will make her question everything she’s come to believe, everything she’s based her life on, and leave her with a choice of how she will live her life in the wasteland.
There’s also the usual(ish) interview, short story, edutainment and songs, bringing life and laughter to the barren earth of 2414.
Also, as we’re approaching the end of The Bunker, with just one episode left to go, we’re trying to raise funds to produce our next podcast: MarsCorp. Visit our Kickstarter page to find out more about the show and how you can help make it happen.
